Getting started

What is Sunloop?

A routine app built around one dial: your waking hours as a ring, your routines placed where they belong, and a sun that moves with the clock. A glance tells you what's next and how soon.

Do I need an account?

No. Sunloop works fully on your phone without signing in. Sign in (Apple, Google or email) only if you want backup or want to join a loop.

How do I add a routine?

On Today, tap Add routine, pick one of the popular routines or name your own, choose a time, and tap Add.

What happens to routines I didn't do?

Nothing dramatic. The day closes itself at your wake time, and tomorrow starts fresh. A break is not a failure.

Reminders

My reminders aren't arriving
  1. Open Sunloop → You → Settings → Notifications and check reminders are on.
  2. Check your phone's settings allow notifications for Sunloop.
  3. On iPhone, a Focus mode may be holding them. Add Sunloop to the allowed apps.
  4. On Android, turn off battery optimisation for Sunloop, and allow alarms and reminders.
Can I mark a routine done from the notification?

Yes. Press and hold the reminder (or expand it) and tap Done or In 10 min.

Why do I get fewer reminders than routines?

Sunloop has a daily limit you control, sends one reminder for routines that are close together, and never sends reminders at night.

Loops and invites

What is a loop?

One routine you share with up to four people. Everyone sees who has done it today. They never see the rest of your day.

How do I invite someone?

Open the loop and tap an empty seat (+), or the share button. Send the link by message, show the QR code, or read out the six-letter code.

I got an invite link. What now?

Open it on your phone. If Sunloop is installed, the invite opens in the app. If not, install Sunloop first, then open the link again, or enter the code in Loops → Have a code?

How do I leave a loop?

Open the loop, tap the menu (···), then Leave loop. Your own routine stays on your day.

Backup and your account

How does backup work?

When you're signed in, Sunloop backs up your routines and history to your account and restores them on a new phone. Your photo is never uploaded.

I got a new phone

Install Sunloop, tap I already have an account on the welcome screen, and sign in the same way as before. Your routines come back.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: You → Settings → Privacy and security → Delete account. Or follow the steps on sunloop.app/delete-account.

Widgets and Live Activities

How do I add the widget?

On iPhone, press and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, and choose Sunloop. On Android, press and hold your home screen, tap Widgets, and choose Sunloop.

The countdown isn't on my lock screen

Check Settings → Sunloop → Live Activities is on (iPhone), and that Live Activities are on in Sunloop → You → Settings → Notifications.

Privacy and your data

What does Sunloop collect?

Without an account, nothing leaves your phone. With an account, only what's needed for backup and loops. The details are in the privacy policy.

Can I export my data?

Yes: You → Settings → Privacy and security → Export my data gives you a file with all your routines and history.
